South Hill Subdivision

In all of Boise, there is one place that stands out from the rest if you want a quiet suburban neighborhood and that is south Boise. South Boise is one of the newest parts of the city and is full of neighborhoods that are new or in the middle of production. One such neighborhood is the South Hill subdivision. This large neighborhood is a collection of 1 and 2 story ranch style homes and windy streets to give the landscape some variety. These homes come in several different sizes with approximately 1,500+ square feet. Their exteriors are made of siding and stone and come in many different colors and patterns. Each house also has an attached garage that can hold 2 or 3 cars.

The windy streets that make their way through the neighborhood are the first on South Hill’s list of amenities. These streets all have complete sidewalk that connect everyone to everyone else. It also connects them to the other amenities that are in South Hill like its park. The park is several acres large with a playground and shade trees for rest, relaxation, and recreation. Deeper into the neighborhood there are a few other parks that are open to the public. When it comes to shopping and other commercial activities, however, residents need only drive a few miles up the road and they’ll find themselves in one of the busiest parts of town, the Boise Bench. This is where the Boise mall is located, a handful of bulk food stores, outdoor gear stores, and several movie theaters as well.
