Lava Springs Subdivision

In the Treasure Valley, building your own home is a common practice. There are dozens companies that specialize in inexpensive custom homes and they operate in almost every corner of the valley. Among all the places you can find these new construction companies, Nampa is one of the most prolific. There is plenty of space for building and amazing amenities that residents can enjoy. However, even in Nampa, there are different areas that have different types of new construction communities. One of the places where you can find the best neighborhoods is the area of South Nampa.

Now, though South Nampa is dotted with dozens of amazing subdivisions, there is one that stands out above the rest-- the Lava Springs subdivision. Named after the Lava Hot Springs resort in eastern Idaho, this awesome subdivision may not be as vacation worthy as the real hot springs, but it sure is just as relaxing. This community is located near the corner of E Locust Lane and Southside Boulevard in Nampa and is several acres large. It is dotted with about a dozen homes and a few dozen more open lots for new construction. The homes that already exist are recently erected ranch style homes. They come in both one and two story models and are elegantly designed for comfortable living. On average these homes will have either 3 or 4 bedrooms making the perfect for indoor living. Not to mention they have a range of about 1,600 - 2,400+ square feet per unit so no matter what you want to do in your home, you will always have the room you need. They also have varying amounts of bathrooms; some of them have as few as 2 and others as many as 3½. Their lots are, on average, are around 22 acres in size and have both fenced and unfenced backyards which allows for all kinds of outdoor activities. Lava Springs homes also come with attached garages ranging in size from 2 to 3 cars worth of space.

The atmosphere in Lava Springs is a tranquil one. The entire neighborhood is cloaked in warm and friendly air that makes it nearly irresistible. It evokes feelings of serenity and peace. It is the perfect place for people who want to come home to a relaxing place every night, no matter what kind of daily lifestyle they lead during the day. This atmosphere is thanks to its remote location and surrounding greenery. Though it is on the outskirts of town, it is still surrounded by green fields instead of the high desert landscape of the Snake River Plain. It is also bordered on one side by an irrigation canal and a branch of Indian Creek.

Lava Springs is made up of only a few streets that loop around one another forming several cul de sacs and so forth. These streets connect with more major roads at two points on both its north and east parts of the subdivision. However, there is more than just roads in Lava Springs. Surrounding the outside perimeter of the neighborhood is a system of walking paths. These paths are designed for not only transportation and exercise, but for relaxation as well. These paths are lined with grass, trees, flowers, and shrubs for the ultimate outdoor escape. However, these are not the only amenities that residents can enjoy.

When it comes to amenities, the Lava Springs subdivision is king. Nearly everywhere in the Treasure Valley is accessible from Lava Springs within an hour which allows its residents to easily explore and enjoy the Boise, Meridian, and Nampa areas. For instance, if they want to enjoy the great outdoors a bit more, they can take a trip to the Deer Flat National Wildlife Preserve (also known as Lake Lowell) which is just 3½ miles to the west. However, if they do not want to play around the water, there are also places for hikes, sightseeing, shooting, and all sorts of other exciting outdoor activities.

In the city there there are rodeos, a movie theater, parks, public pools, and much more. If you want to take a step into the past you can visit the Warhawk Air Museum, one of Nampa’s most loved attractions. It is a museum devoted to fighter planes and other aircraft that have served our country over the years. However, if you would prefer, there are also plenty of golf courses, wineries, and so forth that are great, especially for newcomers.

In the way of dining, residents can find themselves in the heart of Nampa where there are a plethora of amazing restaurants. There are dine-in restaurants of every kind and just about every fast-food joint out there as well as plenty of other places to grab some grub. Not to mention your own home kitchen. Thanks to the amazing local agricultural industry Nampa is abounding with great food that can be bought at a very competitive price.

Nampa is one of the greatest places to live in the Treasure Valley. It is the second largest cities in the state at around 80,000 people-- second only to Boise. It is home to dozens of great businesses and even greater neighborhoods and communities (like Lava Springs). There are many reasons to come to Nampa, and you’ll be surprised what all you can find when you see it for yourself.
