Kuna, Idaho is one of the smallest cities in the Treasure Valley, but is in no way the least popular or the one with the least amenities. Kuna began as a small town of only a few families in the early 1900s and served as a railroad stop for the Oregon Short Line Railroad. Today, Kuna is home to more than 16,000 people and several dozen businesses and farmsteads. Kuna is a very popular city, and one of the fastest growing communities in the Treasure Valley. It is sometimes called “The Gateway to the Birds of Prey” as it is settled on the edge of the several hundred acre large Morley Nelson Snake River Birds of Prey National Conservation Area. This easy access to the conservation area, as well as quick access to many other outdoor hotspots has made Kuna a great place to live for people who like to enjoy the grandeur of the great outdoors.
